POSITION SUMMARY:

As a part-time therapist at Council for Relationships Inc, you will be a W-2, fee-for-service professional dedicated to delivering outstanding therapeutic services. You will manage your own schedule and client rates while building a caseload that meets your professional goals. The role offers flexibility, allowing you to tailor your work to fit your lifestyle while ensuring adherence to clinical standards.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic services that adhere to ethical guidelines and established professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and participate in peer review processes.
  • Follow the clinical policies and procedures set forth by the Council.
  • Utilize the Council's practice management software for efficient client management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professional practice by completing client documentation promptly.
  • Participate in group clinical supervision and attend monthly staff meetings as feasible.
  • Engage in clinical specialty group meetings on a monthly basis as your schedule permits.
  • Meet the monthly clinical productivity benchmarks established by the Council.
  • Keep your professional profile updated on the Council's website.
  • Contribute written content for internal and external communications and marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A master's or doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy, psychology, social work, or a related mental health discipline.
  • Licensed or in the process of obtaining licensure (unlicensed therapists must work under supervision, which is available at a reduced rate until licensure is achieved).
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and strong communication skills.
  • A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience, particularly in couples and family therapy.
  • Clinical membership in AAMFT, with an Approved Supervisor designation preferred.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE:

Therapists receive a variable percentage of the fees they charge, ranging from 50% to 65%.
