Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Complex Medical Care role. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor and record patient condition, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
  • Evaluate and update patient care plans, revising as necessary to achieve planned and expected outcomes.
  • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, ensuring well-coordinated and effective care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to approved nursing protocols.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and patient education.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
  • Provide patient education, addressing cultural and special concerns to ensure patient understanding.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain expertise and stay current with best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, with a BSN preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire.
  • Additional certifications may be required, depending on the specific role and unit.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with minimal supervision. You must be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicating clearly and concisely with colleagues and patients.

This position requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting patients. You must be able to work in a stressful environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
