About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our Global Central Reliability Team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective problem-solving techniques to minimize equipment-related issues and improve overall reliability.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and alignment in the implementation of our reliability program.
  • Design and implement standardized guidelines and policies for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) content across Amazon's global operations.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive equipment performance monitoring system to collect, analyze, and visualize relevant data.
  • Regularly review and interpret equipment performance data to identify opportunities for improving reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Travel up to 50% (international and domestic) to support global operations and collaborate with teams.
About the Team

Our team is responsible for developing and implementing a structured process for deep diving high-impact events (HIEs) across platforms such as MHE, BBM, and Robotics. We act as gatekeepers to any changes needed for corrective data collection, training, and communication along with RCA program roadmaps.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level.
  • Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
