Position Overview: Plasma Collection Specialist

Your Daily Responsibilities May Include:
- Outstanding Customer Engagement: Answer inquiries, warmly greet our donors, and prioritize their safety while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Health Screening and Record Keeping: Utilize your keen attention to detail to evaluate new and returning donors, recording vital signs and test results accurately. You will manage donor charts, maintain precise records, and oversee donor compensation.
- Process Enhancement: Contribute to identifying operational improvements, implementing changes to center procedures as necessary, following company-approved protocols.
- Collaborative Team Environment: Participate in our fast-paced team setting; maintain a clean and professional workspace; attend team meetings; collaborate closely with management; and engage in collective problem-solving.
- Reliability: Be available for our donors, which includes working various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Phlebotomy Skills: You may acquire skills in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced plasmapheresis equipment while ensuring donor safety.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the work shift.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical capability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., with occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor skills, depth perception, and the ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove use.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in food service, retail, healthcare, laboratory, or regulated environments.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced setting.
