Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, screening donors for eligibility, and collecting plasma donations. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring the safety of our donors and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Screen donors for eligibility, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results.
- Collect plasma donations, ensuring the safety of our donors and employees.
- Maintain accurate records, including donor information and plasma collection data.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a clean and professional work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match. We also offer paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.
