LPN Float Role in Hospice Care

This is a driving position that requires traveling to see patients in both homes and facilities within the Miami/Montgomery/Clark/Greene/Butler/Warren and other surrounding areas.

The LPN Float Essential Duties:
  • Provide quality nursing care to patients in a manner that meets the patient and family needs, working under the direction and supervision of an RN Care Manager.
Qualifications:
  • LPNs - Registered LPN with the State of Ohio without any board actions.
  • One year of previous nurse experience.
  • CPR Certified.
  • Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHLPN) preferred; required within two years of employment.
  • Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
  • Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
  • Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record.
  • State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage.
