Maintenance Coordinator Job Description

At KW Property Management & Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and providing exceptional service to our tenants and residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate maintenance service requests and work with the Property Manager to prioritize key initiatives and duties.
  • Collaborate with the Building Maintenance Lead to ensure quality of deliverables and address bandwidth-related concerns.
  • Collect bids for work in the building from contract and 3rd party service providers, ensuring quality of their work and projects.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely support to our tenants and residents.
Requirements:
  • Tenant/residential communication skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively around multiple demands and priorities.
  • Preferred qualifications include HVAC certification, pool certification, VAV/PIU air handler experience, EMS system experience, parking equipment experience, water cooling tower experience, chilled water systems experience, Trane experience, and Aaon experience.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

This role requires frequent movement, communication, and repetition of motions. Occasionally, you may be required to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, etc., and move in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments. You will also be required to work in noisy environments, endure outdoor elements, and work in small and/or enclosed spaces.
