Position Overview

This role entails the effective installation, operation, and upkeep of fire sprinkler systems. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, testing, and performing system evaluations. You will also assist in pinpointing system deficiencies and generating precise and timely inspection documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler systems and equipment in strict compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Upgrade or install fire sprinkler systems in both commercial and residential properties.
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, documenting any identified issues and conveying results of completed work in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inspect and maintain the service vehicle and all associated equipment, submitting repair requests as needed to ensure safe operation.
  • Operate warehouse machinery, including vehicles, in a manner that facilitates the loading and unloading of equipment while adhering to all safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Respond to emergency service requests as required.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems is preferred.
  • Experience with both commercial and residential systems is essential.
  • A clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from the office or job sites are required.
  • Flexibility with scheduling is necessary, as it may involve evening, weekend, and/or out-of-town assignments.
  • Ability to utilize or repair small/light equipment, including power tools, ladders, and medium machinery.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires regular standing, walking, using hands for handling or feeling, reaching with hands or arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving heavy objects.
  • The role also demands various physical abilities to perform essential job functions, including balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, and visual acuity.
