This role involves the installation, maintenance, servicing, and inspection of security systems. Ensure that all systems and components comply with industry standards and meet the operational needs of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install security systems or necessary devices, disassemble and/or reassemble equipment as required by clients or the organization.
- Perform testing and inspections of systems under maintenance contracts.
- Address and resolve system troubleshooting and repairs.
- Establish connections and make necessary adjustments as instructed, test the functionality of all components of each system.
- Conduct site assessments upon management's request.
- Maintain manuals and all details current as changes are communicated.
- Report on tasks completed, postponed, or needing further action or materials to management.
- Communicate with clients regarding job status or completion (installation or service).
- Draft service and status reports.
- Submit complete and accurate documentation promptly. Obtain necessary signatures. Accurately log travel and service times, timesheets, identify warranties, changes, and code issues, and provide precise descriptions.
- Capable of working independently at client locations.
- Comply with the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities (on a rotational basis).
Education and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Technical school training is advantageous.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Must operate fleet vehicles safely at all times.
Physical Demands:
- May need to sit; climb or balance;
- Must be able to walk and stand.
- Comfortable reaching, climbing (ladder/stairs), and bending.
- Must be able to communicate verbally via telephone.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
