Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to play a key role in our estimating team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for new projects and ensuring cost control measures are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing project schedules and timelines to ensure timely completion
  • Analyzing construction plans, documents, and specifications to build scope of work, costs, and contracts
  • Conducting thorough analysis of drawings and specifications to identify potential issues
  • Collaborating with project managers to understand and execute change order requests
  • Conducting quality take-offs from drawings to ensure accuracy
  • Preparing proposals and bid packages to secure new projects
  • Developing preliminary construction budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Reviewing plans and issuing RFIs to ensure compliance
  • Communicating with subcontractors and vendors to request bids and quotes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Previous construction and estimating experience required
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Bluebeam, Timberline, Nitro, or Excel
