Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in managerial accounting, particularly within the manufacturing or supply sectors. A strong background in pharmaceutical product development and commercialization is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities in Financial Planning & Analysis:
Collaborate with executive leadership and distribution partners to establish (i) operational budgets, (ii) key performance indicators (KPIs), (iii) facility expansion budgets, and (iv) supply chain and product launch forecasts.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely bill payments.
- Conduct regular financial analyses, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor financial performance monthly and conduct budget versus actual comparisons.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts promptly and address any discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly accruals for revenue and expenses.
- Execute monthly journal entries.
- Generate comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Interpret financing agreements for accurate accounting treatment.
- Research technical accounting issues to ensure compliance and clarity.
- Maintain effective internal controls for assigned responsibilities.
- Develop and implement accounting policies to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Analyze business operations, advising on revenue trends and financial commitments.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations as necessary.
- Engage with investors and board members as required.
- Undertake additional complex projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of advanced accounting principles and practices, with extensive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and Xero accounting software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including industry and academic professionals.
- Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Preferred: Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
