Job Summary

We are seeking a Security Specialist to join our Assets Protection team. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and assets. You will work closely with our team to prevent theft, investigate incidents, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of our guests and team members by assessing and maintaining safe and secure standards throughout the store.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and accurately document security incidents, including theft, violence, and other safety concerns.
  • Loss Prevention: Conduct merchandise recoveries and provide apprehension support as needed to prevent theft and shortage.
  • Team Member Training: Train team members on operational shortage focus area opportunities and execute shortage action plans set by AP leadership.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and engaging guests, and helping them find products they are looking for.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills and Abilities: Must have effective communication skills, be able to work independently and with a team, and manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to climb up and down ladders, apprehend subjects in accordance with company policy, and scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
