Binghamton University seeks a highly qualified and experienced tenured faculty member to serve as a Collegiate Professor in Hinman College. This is a unique opportunity for a faculty member to take on a leadership role in shaping the academic and residential experience of undergraduate students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative programs and initiatives to foster closer student-faculty relations and promote a sense of community within Hinman College.
- Collaborate with students, staff, and faculty to create a broad range of cultural, educational, and intellectual activities that enhance the living and learning experience.
- Provide strategic leadership to promote the overall impact of the residential college system on undergraduate education and student success at Binghamton University.
- Represent the University in various capacities, including Admissions, Alumni Affairs, and Parent and Family Programs.
- Must be a tenured faculty member currently at Binghamton University.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and faculty from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make decisions that promote the University's mission.
