Pediatric Cardiologist/Imaging Position
Central Texas
Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children's Medical Center is seeking a skilled pediatric cardiologist with specialized training in imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, and transesophageal echocardiography. This role is pivotal as we establish a comprehensive pediatric cardiac surgical program. The ideal candidate will play a significant role in shaping the future of our heart center, working alongside a dedicated team of four pediatric cardiologists.
Our institution offers a full spectrum of pediatric cardiac services, including the assessment and management of cardiac conditions in fetuses, neonates, and preventive cardiology. Our staff conducts various cardiac evaluations, including electrocardiograms, echocardiograms (both trans-thoracic and fetal), stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
Position Highlights:
- Appointment at the rank of clinical assistant, associate, or professor of pediatrics with Baylor College of Medicine.
- Preferred expertise in imaging to support the expansion of our heart center.
- Experience in managing postoperative cardiac patients, ICU/inpatient cardiology, and electrophysiology is advantageous.
- Opportunity to educate medical students, residents, sonographers, and nursing staff.
- Responsibilities include performing, supervising, and interpreting various cardiac studies across multiple hospitals.
- Main clinic operations are based in Central Texas, with outreach to several additional clinics.

Our state-of-the-art facility features 112 patient beds, including private medical/surgical rooms and a dedicated pediatric ICU. We are equipped with a 24-hour pediatric emergency department and a verified trauma center, ensuring comprehensive care for serious pediatric cases.
