Pediatric Cardiologist/Imaging Position
Central Texas

Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children's Medical Center is actively seeking a skilled pediatric cardiologist with specialized training in imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, and Transesophageal echocardiography. This role is pivotal as we expand our pediatric cardiac surgical program, providing an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to influence the future of our heart center.

The ideal applicant will be a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible pediatric cardiologist, ready to collaborate with a dedicated team of four pediatric cardiologists in Central Texas. Preference will be given to those with additional imaging training.

Our comprehensive pediatric cardiac services encompass:

  • Diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions in fetuses and neonates
  • Preventive cardiology initiatives
  • Advanced cardiac studies including electrocardiography, echocardiography (both trans-thoracic and fetal), stress testing, and Holter monitoring

Position Highlights:

  • Clinical appointment at the rank of assistant, associate, or professor of pediatrics with Baylor College of Medicine
  • Emphasis on imaging expertise to support the development of our heart center
  • Experience in managing postoperative cardiac patients, inpatient cardiology, and electrophysiology is highly valued
  • Educational responsibilities include teaching medical students, residents, sonographers, and nursing staff
  • Conducting and interpreting electrocardiograms, Holters, and trans-thoracic echocardiograms across multiple hospitals in the region
  • Main clinic operations based in Central Texas with outreach to several additional clinics

About McLane Children's Medical Center
Our state-of-the-art McLane Children's Specialty Clinic is adjacent to a dedicated Children's Hospital, featuring 112 patient beds, including private medical/surgical rooms and a Pediatric ICU. We also operate a 24-hour pediatric emergency department and a verified trauma center equipped for critical pediatric cases.
