Job Summary

KVC Health Systems is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Treatment Foster Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in selecting, training, and supporting foster care resource providers who provide safe and loving homes for children with unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and train foster care resource providers who possess the skills and dedication to offer safe and loving homes for children with unique needs.
  • Partner with the Department of Social Services, Children's Division, to enhance the lives of children in search of stable foster care placements.
  • Provide nurturing environments for children to thrive and flourish.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human services from an accredited institution.
  • Two (2) years of experience working with children and families in the direct delivery of social services in a public or private agency, preferably in the fields of foster care or adoption.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities, critical thinking skills, and writing/documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage time well, stay organized, and work well with a team.
  • Flexibility in working evenings/weekends and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook email.
