Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Hotel Room Inspector to join our team at Boyd Gaming. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and cleanliness in our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness and quality, ensuring that all areas meet or exceed our high standards.
  • Report rooms ready for occupancy and ensure that all necessary amenities are in place.
  • Conduct daily shift Pre-shifts, uniform inspections, and direct the actions of all floor personnel.
  • Identify and report any room, hall, or equipment deficiencies to the Engineering department.
  • Train and mentor team members on safe and proper usage of chemicals and equipment.
  • Update and maintain accurate hotel room status in our computer system and on boards.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Housekeeping/Hotel department policies and procedures.
  • Ability to learn detailed inspection routines.
  • Effective communication and coaching skills to empower and direct team members.
  • Basic computer, QWERTY keyboard, and office phone knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritize work load and meet deadlines.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Housekeeping (Hotel, Motel, Inn, etc.) with recent experience preferred.
