About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our Executive Leadership team at Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the financial success and sustainability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement strategic financial plans that align with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Oversee the development and management of the annual budget, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team, ensuring effective financial decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Lead the finance and accounting teams, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and prevent financial fraud.
  • Partner with the CEO and Board to develop and implement the organization's strategic plan, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions, ensuring the organization's financial health and stability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8-10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in finance and/or accounting, including at least five years in a senior role.
  • Demonstrated competency in GAAP and financial analysis.
  • Ability to travel and attend in-person meetings as requested, work a combination of in-person and remote as the position requires, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Licensed CPA.
  • Experience working on issues affecting communities most impacted by health inequities, including but not limited to Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, immigrants, refugees, people living in rural areas, and people with disabilities.
  • Lived experience and a deep understanding of health inequities, racial injustice, reproductive justice, gender-affirming care, and the impacts of social determinants of health.
