Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Penetration Tester. The ideal candidate will have experience in manually testing complex web applications and a strong understanding of scripting languages and programming languages. Proficiency in Mac OS X and/or other flavors of UNIX is also required. Additionally, a background in web application development and/or code auditing is preferred. The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills and a passion for discovering and researching new vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques. Experience in performing Threat Models and/or security architecture reviews is also a plus. The role will involve working closely with engineering teams to implement a secure development lifecycle. The day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting security architecture reviews, manual application security testing, and source code auditing. The candidate will also be responsible for creating proof of concepts, automations, and security tooling to scale security testing. A BS in Computer Science or Computer Security is preferred, and OSCP certification is also a plus. We are looking for a team player who is motivated to learn and grow with our company, VDart.
