Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients regain physical or mental functioning and adjust to their handicaps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs in a variety of settings, including sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities.
  • Teach patients skills and techniques required for participation in activities, including daily living skills, work-related skills, and leisure activities.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the American Occupational Therapy Association Code of Ethics and the Guide to Occupational Therapy Practice.
