Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Occupational Hand Therapist to join our team in Corpus Christi, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with hand and upper extremity injuries or conditions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze comprehensive information from formal and informal assessments to determine a rehabilitation treatment diagnosis.
- Perform diagnostic exams to evaluate and assess patient needs of the upper extremities.
- Create treatment plans in accordance with instructions and consent of referring physicians.
- Evaluate patient treatment programs in coordination with the medical staff.
- Perform written re-evaluations in preparation for patients' return for follow-up physician appointments.
- Provide services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients.
- Fabricate custom-made orthotics and communicate with physicians to ensure patients receive the correct orthotics.
Qualifications
- Licensed in Texas as an Occupational Therapist.
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or anticipate sitting for the exam within 2 years.
