Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Nautique Boat Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and performance in our marketing boats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Delivery Preparation: Prepare marketing, photo, ski school, partner, and promotional boats for delivery to customers, ensuring they meet the company's standards.
  • Water Testing: Conduct thorough water tests on every boat before delivery to ensure they are in optimal condition.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on all Nautique boats, utilizing your technical expertise and knowledge of boat systems.
  • Boat Evaluation: Assess the condition of boats returned from marketing partners, ski schools, athletes, and other sources, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary repairs.
  • Refurbishment: Refurbish returned boats to their original condition, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards.
  • Parts Acquisition: Coordinate with internal and external sources to acquire parts and components required for service and refurbishing tasks.
  • Time Management: Effectively manage your time to complete tasks assigned in an expedited manner, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Possess 3+ years of experience in servicing and repairing inboard boats, with a strong understanding of boat systems and mechanics.
  • Certifications: Hold PCM technical certification and have passed the Florida boating safety course.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, lift 50 pounds when necessary, and wear proper safety equipment.
  • Travel: Be willing to travel globally to support Nautique-sponsored events on an annual basis.
