Clinical Nurse Specialist at State of Florida

Position Overview:

  • This opportunity encompasses multiple Clinical Nurse Specialist roles within the Division of Children's Medical Services. Candidates can indicate their preferred work location during the application process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations for prospective MFC parents and children/youth enrolled in the MFC program.
  • Complete essential documentation and conduct home assessments for evaluation purposes.
  • Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and provide necessary support and training.
  • Oversee daily operations of the MFC Program.
  • Maintain and assess data entries and Electronic Health Records for quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Current nursing license in the State of Florida or a multi-state license from another Compact State.
  • Valid Florida driver's license.
  • At least 1-3 years of nursing experience.
  • Experience in Foster Care and Case Management is advantageous.
