Ideal Candidate Profile

As a Cocktail Server, you will enhance the guest experience by providing attentive and friendly service, akin to that of a fine dining establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take food and beverage orders while serving guests in the lounge and Bar & Billiards Room
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of well spirits, house wines, liquor selections, beer options, and food offerings
  • Accurately input orders into the POS system, noting special requests and dietary restrictions
  • Process payments from guests, issue receipts, and ensure secure payment methods for tabs
  • Adhere to all company and state regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service
  • Ensure cleanliness and readiness of tables, chairs, and other furnishings for guests
  • Complete opening and closing tasks without compromising guest satisfaction
  • Assist bartenders by organizing and maintaining the bar area as needed
  • Maintain punctuality and regular attendance, with flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience in fine dining preferred
  • TABC Server Permit required within 60 days of hire

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills with guests, team members, and management
  • Proficiency in restaurant POS and inventory management systems
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods, sometimes exceeding 8 hours
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Capability to perform well under pressure to meet the needs of guests and team members

Work Environment:

  • High guest interaction with varying conditions and circumstances involving guests, staff, and visitors.
