POSITION SUMMARY
The Motion Graphics Design Manager is responsible for overseeing the creation of captivating motion graphics. This role involves delegating tasks, ensuring quality output, and meeting project deadlines. Collaboration with the Creative and Marketing teams is essential to produce visually engaging animations and graphics for various digital platforms that resonate with our partners and their clientele.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Motion Graphics Design team.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion.
- Work closely with Creative and Marketing teams to design marketing materials, transforming static images into dynamic animations.
- Manage content lists for digital displays and oversee regular updates to content management systems.
- Occasionally visit partner locations to review live digital content and collaborate with other teams to resolve any issues.
- Create training materials and standard operating procedures for content production.
- Collaborate with gaming manufacturers to acquire game title assets and maintain an internal asset library.
- Enhance motion graphic content through effective use of typography, visual effects, and audio.
- Adapt graphics for various screen sizes to ensure optimal viewing experiences.
- Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail in all deliverables.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for visual communication.
- Stay informed about design trends and tools to produce standout motion graphics.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Perform basic marketing tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-6+ years of professional experience in Motion Graphics or a similar field.
- 2+ years of managerial or leadership experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management systems.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Express.
- Familiarity with Canva.
- Strong design skills with a focus on layout, audio, typography, and color theory.
- A passion for design and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Frequent use of hand and finger dexterity.
- Visual acuity required for operating equipment and reading technical information.
- Moderate noise levels in the work environment.
