The Infusion Systems Sales Representative plays a crucial role in achieving and surpassing annual sales objectives by fostering and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the healthcare sector. This includes Hospital Administration, Clinical Management, Technical Management, and Pharmacy professionals. The representative is tasked with driving business growth through the promotion of ICU Medical's Infusion Systems portfolio, which encompasses advanced products and software solutions aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Meet and exceed annual sales goals for the Infusion Systems product line, including advanced infusion devices and software solutions.·Develop tailored sales strategies for each target account in collaboration with the Area Manager, utilizing ICU Medical's growth initiatives.
Create a comprehensive territory business plan that outlines growth targets, key account strategies, and customer engagement objectives, including educational events and collaborative selling efforts. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of short-term and long-term business opportunities to guide strategic account planning and territory development. Oversee and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contracts, leveraging company resources to strategically influence competitive opportunities. Track and analyze the utilization of Infusion Systems products in key healthcare facilities to identify sales opportunities and optimize product offerings. Ensure the successful coordination and execution of product implementations. Collaborate closely with hospital stakeholders to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities. Support sales initiatives through the effective use of marketing materials, scientific literature, and educational resources. Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills and in-depth knowledge of ICU Medical's Infusion Systems and their alignment with industry standards.·Conduct high-level presentations on clinical concepts and the benefits of ICU Medical's product offerings.
·Understand the competitive landscape and position ICU Medical's solutions effectively against other market offerings.
·Maintain a high level of expertise in relevant products and technologies, establishing credibility with clinical and executive decision-makers.
·Facilitate product trials and oversee the implementation of all Infusion Systems products.
·Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
·Self-driven, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
·Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong presentation capabilities.
·Ability to simplify complex concepts for effective communication.
·Proficient negotiation skills.
·Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
·Solid business acumen and financial understanding.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Education and Experience
·Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a relevant field such as nursing, business, or technology.
·An MBA or MHA is advantageous.
·A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales, particularly in capital equipment, medical devices, or software within a healthcare environment.
·Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.
·Experience in a collaborative team environment.
Additional Requirements
·Must be at least 18 years of age.
Work Environment
·This position is primarily field-based.
·Work may be conducted from a home office or at customer locations.
·Active compliance with all credentialing requirements is necessary, including vaccination mandates.
·The role may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking based on customer needs.
·A valid driver's license is required, along with adherence to company driving policies.
·Travel is expected to exceed 50% of the time.
Safety and Compliance
·As part of ongoing product safety monitoring, any identified product complaints or adverse events must be reported to the appropriate safety or complaint handling group in a timely manner.
