Job Title: Principal Mechanical Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our dynamic team at Gulfstream SP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial plumbing design and implementation, as well as excellent leadership and project management skills.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000 - $170,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position based in Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of plumbing systems for various commercial projects, while collaborating with other professionals and managing project timelines.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and review detailed engineering plans and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
  2. Coordinate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  3. Supervise construction phases to verify adherence to design plans and specifications.
  4. Perform system analysis, suggest improvements, and generate comprehensive reports.

Requirements:
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. A current Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  3. Minimum of 8 years of commercial plumbing design engineering experience.
  4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  5. Proven experience in project management.
