Mechanical Systems Designer for Avionics Support

Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Designer to join our team in providing top-notch avionics support for our New Glenn launch vehicle. As a key member of our mechanical team, you'll be responsible for designing innovative solutions that meet our stringent safety and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and facilitate Change Requests and Change Notices in Windchill.
- Review hardware Non-Conformances for acceptability regarding structural, thermal, and tolerances.
- Collaborate with electrical and manufacturing engineers to expedite design improvements and change requests.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong background in mechanical engineering, proficiency in CREO design, drafting, and drawings, as well as experience with Windchill and GD&T implementation. Familiarity with FEA tools, such as ANSYS, and complex tolerance stack-up analysis is also highly desirable.

CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is $114,484, based on location and industry standards. Please note that actual compensation may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
