FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Position Summary: Under general supervision, contribute to the production line to construct manufactured housing as part of a collaborative team, ensuring quality output in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Executing all manual tasks in the designated area.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Utilizing a tape measure accurately.
- Interpreting blueprints and work orders.
- Effectively communicating with team members.
- Employing hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electric tools as required.
Required Skills:
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently and methodically.
- Understanding of safety protocols.
- Excellent teamwork capabilities.
- Adherence to Champion Operating Principles.
Qualifications:
- Less than a high school diploma; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or modular housing is preferred.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and communicate verbally. The employee frequently walks, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
