Pharmacist - Patient Care Specialist

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading and directing our Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, while also supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices and regulations, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including DEA and state pharmacy board requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve the quality of our pharmacy services, including patient satisfaction and medication error rates.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and customers, while also promoting the CVS Health brand.
- Personnel Management: Lead and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff, while also promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Manage our pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medications, and maintaining accurate records.
- Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of our pharmacy, while also ensuring that our services are delivered in a cost-effective manner.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential losses, while also promoting a culture of safety and security within our pharmacy.
- Workflow Management: Optimize our pharmacy workflow, while also ensuring that our services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
