As an Assistant Salon Manager, you can expect to earn an average of $17.00+ per hour (base salary plus up to 12% commission and monthly bonuses). High-performing managers have the potential to earn even more.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Salon Manager in:

  • Recruiting, selecting, and onboarding salon staff.
  • Meeting sales targets and performance metrics by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback to the sales team.
  • Completing operational tasks by scheduling and assigning staff, and following up on work outcomes.
  • Monitoring financial objectives through effective management of controllable expenses such as labor and sales costs.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements to maintain the salon's stability and reputation.
  • Overseeing task assignments to keep the salon clean, well-stocked, organized, and ready for customers.
  • Building rapport with customers to foster loyalty and long-term relationships.
  • Creating a positive, motivating, and team-oriented environment.
  • Addressing and resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Analyzing daily sales and expenses to maximize profitability.
  • Safeguarding all monetary transactions and fulfilling banking responsibilities.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a retail or customer service setting.
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to positively influence team members.
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods (7+ hours daily).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation:
$13 - $18+ per hour (base salary plus up to 12% commission and monthly bonuses)
