Job Title: Clinical Dietitian Senior

As a Clinical Dietitian Senior, you will play a vital role in the interdisciplinary team, responsible for evaluating, coordinating, and implementing nutrition care plans for patients. Your expertise will be essential in providing education and counseling to patients on their nutritional needs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting good public relations through the safe and efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and coordinate nutrition care plans for patients
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on their nutritional needs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and good public relations
  • Perform duties in compliance with performance improvement plans, TJC, and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies
  • Serve as a nutrition educator for students, medical staff, health professionals, and/or the general public
  • Serve as a role model, resource, and leader for other clinical dietitians
Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical, counseling, time management, computer, and critical/analytical thinking and understanding capabilities
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and delegate, set and meet deadlines, problem-solve, and be flexible and adaptive to change
  • Customer service-focused and able to facilitate learning and provide constructive feedback
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical nutrition experience in an acute care setting
  • Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensure by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists
