Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Traveling Dietitian. This is a unique opportunity to work with various healthcare facilities across the country, providing quality nutrition care to patients in need.
Job Summary:The Traveling Dietitian will be responsible for working onsite at acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, and other facilities to provide nutrition care. This role requires 100% travel, including overnight stays, and may involve working in different locations, including Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama, West Virginia, and Tennessee.
Responsibilities:- Provide nutrition care to patients in various healthcare settings
- Work with healthcare teams to develop and implement nutrition plans
- Conduct nutrition assessments and counseling sessions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and electronic medical record systems
- Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
- Completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- State certification/licensure (if required)
