Traveling Dietitian - Clinical Regional Operations Support

Sodexo, a leading provider of nutrition services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Dietitian to join our team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a Clinical Regional Operations Support Dietitian, providing nutrition care to patients across the country while traveling to different healthcare locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nutrition care to patients in acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, and other facilities
  • Work onsite at various healthcare locations, providing support to clinical nutrition staff
  • Travel extensively, with overnight stays as needed, to ensure quality nutrition care is provided

Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian with preferred experience in healthcare
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Good time management skills and ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
  • Self-starter, independent, flexible, and team-oriented

Our salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, such as experience, skills, education, and training.

Education and Certification:
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • In some states and/or facilities, RD/RDN credentials are required at the time of hire
  • In some states and/or facilities, state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Basic Functional Experience:
  • 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
