Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent will act as the initial point of contact for patients visiting the ambulatory clinics. This role involves performing general clerical and reception tasks, entering patient information into the registration system, and verifying insurance or third-party coverage. Responsibilities also include scheduling, confirming, and canceling patient appointments while employing a collaborative approach to delivering patient care services.

Required Qualifications:

- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a standardized assessment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with insurance programs and/or government programs.
- Experience with TDS, Signature, IDX systems.
- Background in registration, scheduling, and/or authorization processes.
- Experience in a hospital or medical office environment.
- All final candidates must successfully complete an FBI fingerprinting process to comply with the University's cash handling policy.
