  • Provides assistance with product inquiries
  • Engages customers in meaningful conversations about their purchases, including discussions on taste profiles, complementary items, and preparation suggestions
  • May assist in returning merchandise to designated areas
  • Delivers prompt, friendly service with a positive demeanor
  • Guides Customer Service Associates in the parking area as needed
  • Maintains order by nesting shopping baskets and transporting them to the front
  • Ensures sufficient availability of baskets at all entrances for customer convenience
  • Assists customers with unloading items into their vehicles
  • Ensures availability of sanitizing wipes for customer use
  • Communicates any parking lot issues to management
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kids' carts, electric carts, and infant seats
  • Ensures electric carts are charged and operational
  • Responsible for providing water to customers
  • Conducts regular patrols of the parking lot to locate abandoned shopping carts
  • Collaborates with others to meet customer needs effectively

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires two years of experience
  • No prior experience or training is necessary
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Communicates clearly and effectively
  • Adapts readily to changing priorities
  • Maintains focus despite interruptions
  • Remains calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Adheres to established guidelines and procedures
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills
  • Completes all required training modules
  • Exhibits good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Physical requirements include lifting and carrying moderately heavy items; bending, kneeling, reaching, squatting, pushing, and pulling
  • Maintains high productivity and efficiency standards
  • Capable of standing for extended periods (up to 3 hours)
