Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flex Operator to join our team at Horton, Inc. in Westminster, SC. As a Flex Operator, you will be responsible for assembling and balancing fans, as well as molding fans, using hand tools and machinery. This is a 3rd shift position, working Sunday-Wednesday from 9:30 pm to 7:30 am, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Read and follow instructions on routings and work instructions for each job.
  • Check stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assembly, parts, and other items needed, and contact material handler or Production Lead and Area Manager if shortages exist.
  • Complete all departmental paperwork, such as routings, assembly tickets, downtime tracking sheets, production status sheets, and daily checklists, and communicate questions and problems to Lead or Area Manager.
  • Assemble product as instructed on work instructions or routings.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of machinery used for pre-assembly components, and perform frequent quality checks as directed by management or a Quality Representative.
  • Relay all information about current job to oncoming shift, and maintain production rate on each job.
Requirements
  • Previous relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
