Key Responsibilities- Implement patient care plans and assess patients' physical and mental health needs.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
- Communicate with patients and their families to ensure their needs are met and they are informed about their care.
- Administer medication and provide education to patients and their families.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Registered nurse licensed by State Board of Nursing in the state of employment.
- American Health Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
- Formal training in management of aggressive patients.
- Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
