Job Overview

As a Security Operations Supervisor at DK Security, you will oversee a team of approximately 5-6 Uniform Security Officers, ensuring the safety and security of the assigned location. This role combines supervisory duties with hands-on responsibilities, requiring you to actively participate in security operations while guiding your team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Access Management: Ensure that only authorized personnel enter the premises unaccompanied.
  • Surveillance Monitoring: Oversee CCTV systems to identify and address safety and security issues.
  • Team Development: Provide training and mentorship to security officers on site-specific protocols.
  • Shift Coordination: Organize officer schedules to maintain continuous coverage.
  • Emergency Response: Communicate with team members and on-call officers to manage unexpected absences; the supervisor may need to step in if coverage is unavailable.
Current Opening:
  • 1st Shift: 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Full-Time Position: 40+ hours per week
  • On-Call: Available 24/7 to assist officers with inquiries or absences
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $18.50 (subject to future adjustments)
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, group accident coverage, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity, identity theft protection, paid time off, and 401K options (eligibility criteria apply)
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • No felony convictions; must pass a criminal background check.
  • Successful completion of a drug test is mandatory at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is necessary (specific criteria apply).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and respond to emergencies.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Note: Internal candidates with active disciplinary actions in their personnel files will not be considered for this position.
