Job Title: Second Shift Security Officer

Job Summary:

DK Security is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Second Shift Security Officer to join our team in West Michigan. As an unarmed Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties, while providing exceptional customer service to visitors and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Access Control: Ensure only authorized individuals are given access to the site.
  • Patrolling: Walk the interior and/or exterior of the various buildings on the site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues.
  • Camera Monitoring: Monitor CCTV for safety and security concerns across the site.
  • Customer Service: Enforce rules and policies through de-escalation techniques and ensure quality customer service in every interaction.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • May not have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
  • Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
  • Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.

  • Virtual or On-site Interview: Interview with the recruiter or site supervisor.
  • Job Offer: Talk to our Recruiter about the specifics of the job offer, as well as next steps in the on-Boarding process.
  • Background Check & Online On-Boarding Activities.
  • In-Office Orientation: Meet with our HR Team and complete your onboarding process.
  • Officer Training: Complete basic officer training with our online training courses.
