Job Summary

Peachtree Packaging & Display is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant II to join our team. As a key member of our Accounting Department, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial processes and procedures, providing valuable analysis to drive positive company performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • General Accounting:
    • Prepare and review journal entries, month-end processes, and balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Develop and maintain financial reporting and analysis.
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Process billing, receipts application, customer file maintenance, and customer collections.
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Process supplier invoice processing and file maintenance, disbursements, expense reimbursement tracking, and AMEX reconciliation.
  • Payroll Accounting:
    • Prepare payroll journal entries, manage Namely report management, and process 401k funding requests.
  • Fixed Assets Accounting:
    • Manage asset management, depreciation, fleet management, and gas card JE's.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • One (1) year of experience as a Staff Accountant.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
    • Proficiency with MS Office products, including Excel and Teams.
    • Ability to apply logic and problem-solve.
    • Effective time management.
    • Reliable and trustworthy team-player with a positive attitude.
