Job Summary

Envoy Air is seeking a Part-Time Airport Agent to join our team. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of passengers and baggage through our airport facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway to ensure safe and on-time departures and arrivals.
  • Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials, some of which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
  • Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts to assist with plane movement and baggage handling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure safe and on-time departures.
  • Clean and service aircraft interiors and lavatories as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Use reservation and ticketing software to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, and calculate fees.
  • Communicate with passengers regarding their trips and belongings, ensuring they have a seamless experience.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure accurate processing of passenger information and timely flight departures.
  • Listen to passenger concerns and resolve issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • May work in the Baggage Service Office to track baggage locations and handle passenger inquiries.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18
  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
  • Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver's license (some restrictions may prohibit consideration)
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off
  • Flexibility to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary
  • Ability to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Willingness to work outside in variable weather conditions
  • Interest in the airline industry and ability to work under deadlines
  • Clear, polite, and friendly communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
