Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Metrology Specialist to join our dynamic team. This newly established position offers significant growth potential and is designed for individuals who are passionate about precision and quality in measurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct calibration and upkeep of measurement instruments and equipment, adhering to established industry standards and regulations.
• Perform thorough inspections and evaluations to confirm the accuracy and operational integrity of equipment.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of calibration, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Diagnose and rectify issues with malfunctioning instruments and equipment.
• Formulate and implement calibration protocols and standards.
• Work closely with the Lab Manager to coordinate scheduling and manage workload effectively.
• Offer technical assistance and training to team members regarding the proper utilization of measurement and testing equipment.
• Record calibration processes, outcomes, and any discrepancies from expected results.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the precision and efficiency of metrology operations.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Metrology Technician or in a comparable role.
• Solid understanding of measurement and calibration methodologies, tools, and equipment.
• Skilled in utilizing precision measurement instruments and relevant software.
• Exceptional customer service abilities with a focus on fostering strong relationships and effectively addressing client needs.
