Job Title: Sr. Demand Scheduler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Demand Scheduler to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our Advanced Product Center, you will be responsible for coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule.
  • Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
  • Work daily to confirm material supply and demands.
  • Prepare work orders for the production of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
  • Work with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
  • Report on and troubleshoot MRP system generated exceptions; and take corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory cycle counts and reconcile the system.
  • Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.
  • Perform movement of material to and from the factory, pack/ship (or other area) as needed.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 years prior relevant experience, or advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience.
  • 5 or more years' experience in a manufacturing facility, manufacturing scheduling, planning, inventory cycle and production control.
  • 5 years' experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software troubleshooting.
  • 5 years' experience using an SAP program.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of SAP / PRISM experience
  • Experience with Tableau, Kinaxis, Business Warehouse
  • Material planning and order execution experience.
  • Experience with government contracting requirements

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $77,000 - $163,000

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
