KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) You will establish and manage editorial standards for various communication channels, including news articles, press announcements, magazine features, speeches, presentations, reports, online content, advertising materials, newsletters, and social media updates. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the editorial direction of our communications team.
2) You will inspire creativity and drive productivity by mentoring team members in the execution of integrated marketing strategies through our project management framework.
3) You will oversee the quality of editorial content, ensuring it aligns with our organizational mission and maintains high standards of accuracy and consistency.
4) You will engage in writing and editing diverse communications, such as news articles, press releases, digital newsletters, presentations, scripts, reports, and promotional materials.
5) You will assist in training staff and manage the editorial content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
6) You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop engaging and informative content that resonates with our audience.
7) You will maintain partnerships within the organization and participate in committees and collaborative teams as necessary.
8) You will report to the Director of Communications while working closely with various departments.

Required Qualifications
A degree in communications, writing, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Significant experience in professional writing and editing, including reports, web content, press releases, articles, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Proficiency in AP Style writing.
Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and spelling.
Excellent proofreading abilities.
Competence in word processing, internet research, and electronic communication.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a professional setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in supervision and personnel management.
Background in public relations or marketing within an educational context.
Familiarity with project management systems and social media tools.
Knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for inclusive communication.
Experience with content and project management systems.
