Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day project activities, including project planning, execution, and coordination with clients.
  • Supervise teams of staff members on multiple concurrent engagements, providing feedback, direction, and resources as needed.
  • Perform initial reviews of Senior Associate and Associate workpapers to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their industry and business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management and internal control.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA or CPA candidate, CIA, or CIA candidate with years of experience in public accounting.
  • Advanced understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and IIA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the COSO internal control framework, Internal Audit Standard, and the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Advanced understanding of financial reporting, transaction cycles, and business processes.
  • Ability to mentor and develop less experienced staff.
  • Demonstrate independent thinking and strong decision-making skills.
