We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team at Smokiam RV Resort. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our properties, ensuring that our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the grounds and facilities, including mowing, watering, and landscaping.
  • Ensure that all areas are clean and free of hazards.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
  • Comply with all company, federal, state, and local safety programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and team members.
  • Report any guest problems, requests, or complaints to the General Manager.
Requirements:
  • A passion for customer service and the outdoors.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and mowing equipment.
  • Familiarity with landscaping and the safe operation of landscaping equipment.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance frequently.
  • Long periods of standing.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb.
  • Must be able to operate various loud and vibrating maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Requires the use of hands and fingers to feel and handle objects.
  • Able to travel by auto.
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors and in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of moving safely over uneven or wet terrain.
