Job Title: Golf Course Groundskeeper: Part-Time Position

Job Summary:
The City of Salt Lake City is seeking a Part-Time Golf Course Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness of assigned golf course grounds, gardens, equipment, and buildings. The incumbent will perform a variety of duties, including mowing, aerating, and weeding turf, cleaning restrooms, picking up trash, raking leaves, clearing sidewalks, and removing debris. The successful candidate will have experience in gardening or general maintenance work and be able to operate small hand tools and small gasoline-operated equipment in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain the cleanliness of assigned golf course grounds, gardens, equipment, and buildings
• Perform a variety of duties, including mowing, aerating, and weeding turf, cleaning restrooms, picking up trash, raking leaves, clearing sidewalks, and removing debris
• Operate small hand tools and small gasoline-operated equipment in all weather conditions
• Perform manual labor both indoors and outdoors for an extended period of time, including during inclement weather
• Ability to lift 20 pounds
• Ability to work and relate well with coworkers, supervisors, and the general public under varying circumstances and display common courtesy

Requirements:
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Possession of a valid driver's license or driving privilege card
• Experience in gardening or general maintenance work
• Ability to operate small hand tools and small gasoline-operated equipment in all weather conditions
• Ability to perform manual labor both indoors and outdoors for an extended period of time, including during inclement weather
• Ability to lift 20 pounds
• Ability to work and relate well with coworkers, supervisors, and the general public under varying circumstances and display common courtesy

Working Conditions:
The work environment is outdoors and may include exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, and weather conditions. The incumbent will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
