Key Responsibilities

  • Manage ammunition reloading and vehicle resupply operations.
  • Conduct testing and maintenance of fire control systems.
  • Install and configure communication systems in all operational vehicles.

Essential Skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining physical and mental fitness.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities.

In this position, you will acquire essential skills that are valuable in any civilian career, including teamwork, discipline, strategic thinking, and leadership. You will also gain proficiency in various computer systems used for target location calculations and communications.

Compensation and Training
Instead of incurring costs to learn these skills, you will receive compensation while training. In the Army National Guard, you will earn a steady paycheck while gaining valuable job skills and qualifying for educational assistance.

Training for the Multiple Launch Rocket System Crewmember role begins with 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you will learn fundamental soldiering skills. This is followed by four weeks of Advanced Individual Training focused on the specifics of your specialty, combining classroom instruction with hands-on field experience.
