**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lacrosse Coach to lead our Middle School Boys team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills, with a strong ability to motivate and develop young athletes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Program Development:** Coordinate and implement Lacrosse programs across varsity, JV, and middle school levels, ensuring a cohesive and competitive team environment.
  • **Player Development:** Supervise and guide player development, providing personalized coaching and mentorship to enhance skills and teamwork.
  • **Scheduling and Logistics:** Collaborate with the Director of Athletics and regional coaches to establish game schedules, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • **Practice Planning:** Design and implement practice sessions focused on enhancing specific skills, such as ball control, shooting, and teamwork.
  • **Team Management:** Partner with the Strength and Conditioning Coach to develop and implement training programs, ensuring players are physically prepared for competition.
  • **Communication:** Keep players, parents, and staff informed about team expectations, schedules, and training opportunities, fostering a culture of transparency and open communication.
  • **Motivation and Leadership:** Motivate players to excel by setting objectives, providing guidance, and offering support during challenging periods, promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • **Game Strategy:** Prepare game strategies and scout opponents, ensuring the team is well-prepared and competitive.
  • **Scheduling and Coordination:** Collaborate with other coaches to manage schedules for student athletes involved in multiple sports, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

**Work Environment:**

The physical demands of the job require the employee to:

  • Sit frequently, use hands, reach, talk, and hear
  • Stand, walk, and climb stairs on a regular basis
  • Travel between campuses using a personal vehicle
  • Have specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, and color vision
  • Adjust focus and possess depth perception
  • Work with various equipment like phones, computers, cameras, and other electronic devices
  • Lift boxes/items under 30 lbs using muscles/limbs
  • Occasionally work nights and weekends to support school activities
